Freeform Single Vision Design and Production
Freeform single vision lenses are digitally surfaced from the submitted RX and selected design. When supported by the design, monocular PD, fitting height and position-of-wear data can be incorporated into the calculation.
This should not be confused with simply edging a standard finished lens. The laboratory confirms the required data and production route before manufacturing.
