RM-1 to RM-60 tint color system
The supplied Heritage tint guide contains 60 RM references spanning light fashion colors, deeper gray, brown, green, blue and red tones, standard gradients and multicolor gradients. Orders should identify the RM code or an approved physical sample together with the required transmission or density.
Transmission and UV performance are separate specifications
A tint reduces visible-light transmission, but darkness alone does not prove UV protection. UV and visible-transmission claims must be supported by the applicable measured lens performance and destination-market requirements.
Color perception and driving suitability
Tint hue and density can change color appearance. Products for driving must be evaluated against the applicable transmission and signal-recognition requirements; dark tinted eyewear is not intended for night driving.
